Currently, none of the 2017 or earlier models TV from Sony are supported.

List of Apple TV app-supported smart TVs and third party streaming devices - Apple

Unsupported models TV will need to connect an external streaming device in order to access the Apple TV app, such as the Apple TV box, Roku, Fire TV, Nvidia Shield TV, Chromecast wit Google TV, PlayStation (4,5), Xbox (One, One S, X, S).
