Stolen iPhone trying to recover iCloud data

Hello,

my iPhone was stolen a couple weeks ago. I am trying to sign in to my icloud account from my laptop to erase the data off my iCloud but when I enter my icloud email and password, it is asking for phone number verification. The last 2 digits that the providefo are of a phone number I do not recognize. There is no other way I am seeing to verfiy that the iClooud account belongs to me. Anyone able to help with this?
