I purchased an album from iTunes. It’s on my purchase history but on the iTunes app when I press purchases I get a white screen. How do I play the album I bought?

That is correct. I am very happy with my iTunes purchase. I am looking forward to making more purchases. How do I get rid of Apple Music? All I want are downloads. No more streaming. I’ll accept any terms. Please get me out of my yearly Apple Music subscription.
Have you looked in the Music app? That's normally where music is downloaded.
To cancel your subscription go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, but you're stuck with it until the subscription expires.
I don’t want streaming. I’ll agree to anything to get rid of it. The only music I want on my smartphone are downloads.
