Ever since I updated my MBP to Monterey I have had problems with both my ESC key and the touchbar emoji's. A week ago my emoji's worked and that made my ESC key also work, Is anyone else having that problem? Or is my ESC key actually broken, because I know other people are having trouble with the emoji's but not about the ESC key.

On the Intel Mac you can try both—
resetting the SMC How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)
if no insight or resolve:
In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"—
