Home App exceptionally slow when on same WiFi band as WeMo switch

Both iMac and iPhone 13 MAX PRO are fully updates as of Mar 1/2022.


Dual band WiFi, WeMo is on 2.4GHz, only option


When either iMac or Iphone are on the 2.4GHz band, the WeMo can't be found, or if found, latency is really long.


When either iPhone or iMac is on the 5Ghz band, instand response.


Issue appears to be on Apple side, please adivse.


Whoahhh, since Home/HomeKit is not a topic, should I look else where for home automation?
