The accessibility option to disable the trackpad when the mouse is connected (MBP is connected to a docking station) is not longer functional since the last OS Monterey 12.2.1 update. When the non-apple Mouse was active, this option was working. When typing, I need the trackpad disabled. How can I get accessibility functionality back?

If your trackpad doesn't seem to be disabled, try the following steps to toggle this option:
If you use a non-Apple mouse, the driver software that came with your mouse may prevent this option from working as expected. For information, see the documentation for your mouse.

I would like to note, the latest Monterey update v12.3, resolved this trackpad problem as well as the network printer SMS RPC Authorization issue:

Thank you Apple developers for quickly resolving these two. I hope my input helped.
The popular SeenDa mouse was working on the MBP and the OS was disabling the trackpad, working since brought the MBP 2021/M1 last July/August. When the MBP was docked making the mouse active, the trackpad would be disabled.
The last update broke this functionality. Seenda has no driver on their website for the MacOS.
Is Apple requiring a Apple only mouse for this functionality to work? To disable the trackpad when the MBP is docked with a BT mouse?

It is not required to use an Apple mouse for the feature to work, just a note that third-party mouse drivers may potentially interfere with the functionality of that particular feature.
To help with isolating this down, it may help to try using a different mouse, if you have any others accessible to you.
