MacBook Pro 2021 max charging wattage

What is the min/max wattage I can use to safely charge my 2021 MacBook Pro M1 max via the USB-C port? Is it possible to over (or under) power it, or will the USB-C cable or port regulate/restrict the wattage coming in?

Also, is it inadvisable to use a less powerful brick (lower than my 140W one) to charge it via the MagSafe cable?
