Which Apple replacement for 27" iMac?

Now that 27" iMacs are discontinued, I'd like some help thinking about replacing my 2014 iMac.

My question: To replace my late 2014 27" iMac, which current Apple configuration/hardware combination would best work for me?

Requirements & preferences:

  • at least 27" screen
  • at least 2TB storage
  • at least 3 USB ports
  • apps I use most: Chrome, Lightroom, Photos, Photoshop.
  • likely future use: home video editing

I realize this is a complex question (and I'm sure my list betrays just how hardware-savvy I am not), so if you have links to articles that cover just such a decision, that alone will be very much appreciated. :)

Currently, your only options are a Mac mini or Mac Studio with whatever monitor you want to plug into it.
