Any thoughts on upgrading my existing iMac?

More of a rant than a question. I was looking forward to the iMac 27 with a M1 Max chip replacing my 2105 iMac and was totally disappointed that there will be no new iMac 27. I just dropped $3,400 dollars on a new MacBook Pro and don't need the MacStudio Power, just a newer iMac 27. I want to stay with a Mac, but Apple made it more of a challenge.

Any thoughts on upgrading my existing iMac, better chic, graphics card, memory? I have the max of 32g. Thx.

FWIW, you cannot replace the CPU, GPU or add more RAM.

You can "wait it out" as suggested for something that may never exist.

You could always opt for an M1 Mac mini and a decent 27" monitor.

Unless you have unusual processing requirements, for most purposes an M1 mini + Studio Display = 27” iMac.
