Logic Pro X Normilization trouble

I cannot normalize audio. First I cannot double click the track so i use the short cut "E". Then, I can see the track under the "track " tab, but nothing when i click the "File" tab. Can someone help please?

That's not just one audio file, it's a composition of several takes (also called a comp). To normalize this, you'll need to bounce in place. In that dialog, a normalization is offered, already.
