Your boyfriend will have to remove them from his account using his Apple ID & password. You cannot do it for him unless you know his account info. Your boyfriend should either:

• Forget the AirPods on the BlueTooth settings on his iPhone, or
• With a web browser, go to: https://www.iCloud.com and sign in with his Apple ID. Open Find My iPhone and select All Devices (at the top). Then click your AirPods, select 'Erase AirPods, and select Next until the device is erased. Finally click "X" next to remove your AirPods from. his account.
