iPad only showing unread emails

There are lots of helpful solutions for the issue, personally I just select all and mark as read to fix it but the annoying thing is why hasn’t Apple fixed this issue? I’m now on an 13pro max and it’s happening, it’s been over 4 years with this issue and it’s still not been resolved for people, maybe less new emojis and more fix actual bugs 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you tap on the circle with 3 lines, when it is a blue background with while lines, the filter is on. Under Filtered by: if it says Unread, that is the mail you should be seeing, any unread mail. If you tap on the circle and it is clear with blue lines, then the filter is turned off and you should see all of your mail in your inbox. If you tap on it where is shows Filtered by:, tap on it and it will take you to a page to view Settings. Check to see if anything else there is turned on.

Tap on the Edit button. That will give you the ability to choose the mailboxes as the other poster suggested. For some reason, you do not have Inbox selected for your mail account, you have Unread selected. That is why you are only seeing unread emails. Select the Inbox if you only have one account, or you can select All Inboxes. Either should work.

Paintedladycat, your issue sounds different. You should start your own thread, as this one is marked “solved” already. Explain your issue in detail.

Absent any further details, it sounds like you activated the filter to show only unread messages. That was the first guess above. Turning off the filter didn’t solve Sylvie900’s problem, but have you tried it?

Click on the blue "< Mailboxes" at the upper left to return to the list of mailboxes and select "All Inboxes" (or another of the available mailboxes or views in the list).
