Microsoft requires macOS Catalina (10.15.7) or later to install current Microsoft 365 or Office 2019/2021 for Mac software. You cannot reinstall Office 2011 for Mac on older Macs because Microsoft has disabled the license servers for it.

We can't respond because "struggling to download" provides no useful information to respond to. We need to know:

  • What version of Mac operating system you are running.
  • What version of Microsoft Office you are trying to download.
  • What happens when you try. Or what doesn't happen.
  • Have you purchased a current version of Microsoft Office?
  • Have you tried to reregister a download of the Microsoft Office apps?
  • Have you contacted Microsoft for assistance? (It is their product.) What did they say?
