Trying to restore iPad

Locked iPad for failed password attempts and it said iPad unavailable, I did all the correct steps and now it’s stuck on update or restore

Did you try updating or restoring? If you tried both with no success, disconnect the iPad, restart it, restart your computer and try again.

You can also try putting the iPad into recovery mode.
