Trying to erase hard drive on Mac book pro

Trying to wipe my 2017 Mac book pro clean upon following in Disk Utility Macintosh HD it is not giving me the option to erase only options given

are for first aid and partition


MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.2

You may only erase a startup drive from macOS Recovery: Use Disk Utility to erase an Intel-based Mac - Apple Support.
