I have 2 MacAirs, the older with intel chip one supports 2 external monitors no problem but the new one, with Apple M1 chip only appears to support one external monitor. Am I doing something wrong (I use the same adaptors for both setups)?

Am I doing something wrong (I use the same adaptors for both setups)? or has Apple degraded the specification with the introduction of the new chip?

MacBook Air (2020 or later)
