Since installing Monterey yesterday none of my Word documents will save as PDF.
I've tried a New document and old ones. Nothing works.
I found on a previous thread to move Word into Trash via Finder and reinstall Word. I've done this, re-started my computer and still it doesn't work.
Any ideas please?

If you are not on 12.3.1 update now.
If still prom try booting to Safe Mode. That boot up takes minutes and clears caches and other things that may resolve your problem.

A lot of times just boot to Safe Mode followed by normal boot resolves problems. No reason the stay in Safe Mode.
If no problem in Safe Mode but problem returns after a normal boot that mean something is being loaded during a normal boot that is causing the problem.

It says 'the document could not be saved'.
I'm pressing 'Save as' then selecting 'PDF' then selecting 'Export'
This is what I have done successfully before installing Monterey.
Now for some reason it doesn't work.
Using Word 16.61 on macOS 12.3.1, I can open a Word document and from the File menu, choose Save As… I then select my Desktop and change the File format selector from Word document to PDF. If you don't formally add the .pdf extension to your document name, that extension will be hidden from you in the FInder when saved.
What exactly happens when you try?
Are you "saving" it or trying to print as pdf?
What version of Word do you have? Are any updates available?
I have version 16.59 of Word. It's on an Office 365 subscription.
I'm using Office 2021 and OS 12.3 and have no issues with PDF save.
Did you figure this out? Happening to me now. I also have Office 365 Word through my job.
Where are you saving to?
Monterey has more strict security requirements, and applications can't access some locations unless you give explicit permission.
A dropbox folder -- I will see if it will let me save to desktop
