Battery Icon indicators

The battery icon on my MacBook Air M1 indicates it is fully charged but always has the "lightning bolt" as if it is charging. Is this normal?

Hi ketchrock,

We understand you have a question regarding the charging symbol on your MacBook Air. The lightning bolt symbol shows that the MacBook Air is connected to power and the battery is currently charging. As long as the MacBook Air is connected to a power source, the lightning symbol will remain. This article provides more information on charging your MacBook Air.
