I have lost my AirPods in the case. I know where they were last used but how can I find them now

How can I find my AirPods inside the case with the case closed. I can see when and where I last used them but how can I find them now?

I am afraid there is no way to use "Find My" for lost AirPods that are in the case. Sorry. See the replies to:
