Problems with books disappearing from library after last few updates?

I have an iPAD mini 4, 128 GB. After the last few updates, including 15.4.1, books keep disappearing from my library. I can get them back by going into the iCloud Drive under my Apple ID and toggling the button next to Books on and off. (Got that idea from searching online) It keeps happening though, after each update. Even while I’m reading a book, it will disappear. It looks like it’s closing but it’s just gone until I toggle the Books button off/on again.

Anyone experiencing this and found a solution?
