I was on google, opened some site and there was pop up message that said my iPhone was hacked. It then took me to app in app store to detect it. I download app and it detected 16 problems and asked me to pay before I protect my phone. Is my iPhones really hacked or is it just a scam.
All such messages are scams, presented by criminals. Never download anything based on such messages.
Delete the bogus app you have downloaded, and be certain to check for and cancel any subscriptions to the app.
