Apple TV App for Samsung TVs not playing purchased content in HDR

The Apple TV app for my Samsung Q70T 55" has stopped playing any of my library of purchased 4K HDR movies in HDR. They are now all playing in SDR and also now look horribly compressed. What's interesting is that tv shows/movies from my Apple TV+ subscription still seem to work just fine in HDR in the same app, as well as Netflix and Prime Video content working fine in their apps.

Purchased movies still playing fine in HDR on all my apple devices, and internet connection is not an issue. Tried doing a factory rest of the TV and reinstalling the Apple TV app with no success.

Is anyone else encountering this issue?
