need hp lasere jet 1020 plus printer drivers

The supported HP drivers for the 1020 are for Windows and Linux only.

However, earlier, an HP LaserJet 1022 driver 1.6.1 for Mac (in a package download from Apple) has been reported to work with an HP LaserJet 1020. See HP 5.1.1 Printer Software Update and Printer and scanner drivers for Mac - Apple Support.

This may or may not work with your printer. Look upon it as an experiment. Make sure that you have backup copies of all important files (documents, photos, et cetera) if you decide to perform tests with drivers.
