"select the information to transfer" for migration assistant

With using the new migration assistant (from old Mac to a new iMac 24" late 2021), we are still seeing spinning wheel of calculating all sets of files on new Mac. Should we wait till all files are calculated before selecting "continue"? Or, just select continue while it is still calculating the files?

Thanks,

Allan

When migrating please follow the steps in Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant. Whatever you do DO NOT use WiFi, the fastest and most reliable method to migrate is explained in the link. Please be patient, a fast migration will take a minimum of 1 hour however allocate up to 4 hours depending on the amount of data being migrated.
