Android devices do not have iMessages and they use SMS (Both sending and Receiving) which requires nwetwork coverage though a Carrier Service and not WiFi.

Types of messages?

• iMessage? --> Check your internet stability and connectivity. If the Apple server is the issue, it will show here --> Support - System Status - Apple
• SMS/MMS? --> Does not need internet but contact your Carrier Service Provider for network coverage and outages ->: Down Detector - outages

Android to Apple texts are sent using cellular data. iMessage has the ability to send texts to other Apple devices using a wi-if connection or cellular data.
