delete photos from iphone

I have deleted photos from iphone to create space - why cant i find them on my icloud?

Because iCloud is a syncing feature. If you erase a photo from the iPhone it will be erased in iCloud. If you erase a photo from iCloud, it will be erased from your iPhone.
