imovie

I can't delete imovie because all my films are on it but it keeps saying this " "App cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID".What do I do!!!! I updated my computer and when it restarted it said my iMovie is out of date and wont let me open it or update it because apparently my id is different? It isn't though...

Help!!! I am a videographer and need my movies!

Try this procedure:

To update/redownload iMovie 10, drag your iMovie 10 app from the Applications folder into the trash, but do not empty the

trash. Sign in to the app store and open your purchases folder by clicking on your name at the bottom of the app store side bar. You will see your purchases displayed, including iMovie 10. Redownload/update iMovie from there. If not successful, drag your present iMovie app out of the trash and return it to the Applications folder.

If you don't see iMovie 10 in your Account Purchases screen, then possibly it is hidden. To check, click on the View Information item at the top right of the Purchases screen, enter your password, and a box will appear displaying an option to reveal hidden applications.

This box will appear . . .
