Once I put a photo in an album, can I delete it from the library, without it being deleted from the album?I have a Mac Pro lap top.

No. Any image/video is always shown in the library view. Your albums simply organize the library.

Or phrased somewhat differently, you have one copy of the photo in total, and not a copy in each album that might contain the photo.
If you want to get rid of photos from Library, but not an album, can you delete and sell have the photo in the album?
