Apple id

I recently felt that someone was controlling parts of my phone. Mainly locations. I feel that it was my BF. So I noticed he was logged into my Apple ID, b/c his device was listed as being logged into it. He said he has no idea why. So, he was deleted. I changed my password. Go back into my Apple ID device list and he’s there again the next day. He logs out again. But, when he allows the find me app to share with me, his device is not listed, only mine twice. Can anyone help explain what’s going on?
