iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen-----Flashing Orange

I have an iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation, i havnt used it since 2014. And Found the device recently. When i Tried hooking it up to PC(running windows 10), it wasnt recogenized and the orange light blinked 3-4 times and stopped. Then i Connected it to my Mac (running macOS Monterey) the orange light on the iPod was continuesly blinking and it didnt stop until i removed it the cable from my Mac, And when i tried to connect it to the Mac again, the orange light blinked 4 times and stopped. when i connect it "directly to the wall" using my iPad Power Adapter the light turns solid GREEN. Is there any way with which i an recoverer this gem?

Thank You!

rishinair,

Based on the following article, Check the status light and battery charge on your iPod shuffle, For an iPod shuffle (2nd generation) it looks like the orange light means the battery is between 10%-30% charge.

You can attempt to restore your iPod, reinstalling the operating system via a computer. Does your iPod show in iTunes/Finder?

Thanks.

rishinair,

The best step forward would be to take your iPod into an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider to get it evaluated. If needed, this link will help with locating stores: Find Locations

If you'd prefer, you can reach out to Apple Support directly. They can be contacted here: Get Support, or by calling the most applicable phone number from this list: Contact Apple for support and service.

Cheers.

Thanks for Your Valuable Time MVegas21,

The problem is that i cant take it to an apple store because this one is more than 15 years old and the guy from apple support told me that they have stopped support on this particular model years ago.

I tried everything, but in vain.

This is the most common issue with this particular iPod shuffle and there are more than 1000+ queries regarding the same in the forum, but no one came with a valid solution.
