I can’t update my application on AppStore

Looks like when you try to update your apps, you are getting a message to verify or update your payment method and when you go to payment and shipping settings, you may also see that your payment method is declined

If your payment method has been declined in the App Store or iTunes Store – Apple Support (AU)

Usually, this is a hint that there is an issue with the account, mostly a pending purchase and needs to be settled before you can download amd update apps again. You can check your purchase history to see if there's indeed a pending purchase

View your purchase history for the App Store, iTunes Store and other Apple media services – Apple Support (AU)

You can settle this by contacting your bank or card issuer to check if there's anything they need to do on the current payment method filed in your account or you can another payment method or redeem an iTunes gift card
