what do I do if I receive a message my camera is not genuine and I have never replaced it and my iPhone was bought directly from Apple Store?

Contact Apple Support and setup a service appointment so they can check it out. If your iPhone has never been repaired by non authorized service providers Apple should be able to fix the bug in the hardware detection.
