I have iTunes Match and I am so frustrated that I have to pay for something that was once free. I do not want ALL of my playlists on my phone. I only want some, but if I try to delete it, I get a warning that it will be deleted from ALL devices. I want to keep the playlist on my computer but just remove it from my iphone. I don't have Apple Music and I don't want Apple Music. I want SOME playlists just on my phone. Why is this so impossible?

If you don't like the syncing aspect of it don't use it, and sync via cable to your phone.
Unfortunately, that doesn't solve my problem. That will still remove my playlists from my computer. It shouldn't be this difficult. This is ridiculous.
This doesn't answer my question. I don't want to synch everything on my Mac with my iPhone. I want to remove playlists only from my iPhone
