Get refunded

Hello, i have a question. I’ve accidentally bought an app on the AppStore then I tried to make a refund and I had to wait a day after I did it I had to wait a day again. After I got the email saying it’s has been refunded or something like this I went to check my credit on the AppStore but the credit hasn’t changed I didn’t got refunded as I was supposed to get my credits back. I also checked to see if the app I’ve bought before and it went back like it first was. So I wanted to know if in my case it’s normal or not if I have to wait a day again and what should I do ?
