If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.

There is no at-home fix for this. I recommend putting your homeowners'/renters' insurance on notice of an expensive repair or total loss of the device, as wetted computers rarely "heal" themselves. Most such policies provide coverage for accidental damage to tech gear.
