Photo Stream Not Working on iMac

My Photo Stream is working fine on my iPad, but has stopped working on my iMac. I have it set up on the iMac in iCloud, but for some reason it stopped working. I am using OS 12.4 on an Intel iMac. Any suggestions?

You may want to check the Settings > Camera > Formats on the iPhone and iPad. If the format is set to "High Efficiency", my Photo Stream may longer transfer the new photos to your Mac. The images in the HEIC format are not supported for My Photo Stream. Previously, my Photo Stream has automatically converted HEIC to JPEG, to transfer the photos. This is no longer happening. iOS 15.5 on the iPhone is supposed to have fixed this problem, but I am not sure about the iPad.
