Touch bar issue and display issue

Two issues have appeared with my MacBook Pro:

  1. Touch bar turned dark blue and is unreadable. It does respond to touch
  2. A vertical black bar appeared on the display with a small crack towards the bottom.

There was no physical damage (drops, pressure, high heat, something caught between the display and keyboard, etc.) nor water damage that occurred. The display issue appeared first, followed by the touch bar issue ~24hrs later. The issues first occurred after the laptop was left closed and undisturbed, in a protective case, overnight on a desk (no pets, falling objects, etc.).

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix? It doesn't look like this is covered under the limited 1-year warranty. Despite no accidents happening, this seems to be considered "Accidental damage."

Device Information:

MacBook Pro (16 inch, 2019)

Purchase date (new): September 2021

Processor: 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core 17

macOS Monterey Version 12.4

Thanks!

We are not Apple and we cannot see these issues. Only Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider will be able to answer your questions, but only after a physical examination. Apple always has the final say on what is covered or not covered.
