Is there anyway possible for me to gain access to an old iTunes account, which I had? I no longer have the email which the iTunes account was linked to and I can not remember the answers to my security questions. The iTunes is fairly old

First go to appleid.apple.com and try the usual "Forgot my password..." etc.
If that does not work, you can call out the big guns as described in here:
