paypal not opening when trying to login

Hi! I've recently tried to log into my own PayPal account in payments and shipping since it was still linked to my mom's. However when I press "log in with a different account", nothing happens. Then I tried to add another PayPal payment method, I entered my billing address and when I pressed ”log into PayPal", nothing happened again. Without being logged in I tapped Done and it showed me a message saying "We can't process your request right now, try again later." I tried restarting my phone multiple times and it didn't work. I've tried over multiple days now with no success. How do I fix this?
