I have looked up every fix on the apple support pages and on google but my APPLE 4K TV will recognize my library - It keeps saying re try - it was fine but then nothing
Unplugged and re set everything
I turned home sharing on and off
Done it all nothing works - need some new ideas

Did you turn off your router and modem for 2-3 minutes and then restart the computer?
I unplugged everything I have agin - all of it - for 5 minutes and it worked

I Did everything recommended on apple forums etc - unplugged apple tv for more the 2 minutes- same with modem etc
Everything updated
Home sharing turned off and on multiple times
It still will not recognize my library
Very odd and frustrating
Glad that worked I thought it might, again that indicates an issue with your network though so it may happen again. When and how often is the unknown. When it gets to a point that it really bothers you then you will address your network's deficiencies.
Hi! I’m having this same issue (on a 4th generation HD model), but it only started this week (Sunday, July 10). My network has not undergone any changes and has, thus far, been more than sufficient. Is this a protocol reset? Why would the network prevent my TV from recognizing my iTunes library?
(I’m just trying to understand the issue. I will attempt your suggested fix when it is convenient. Thanks!)
