removing app
I removed an app icon from my home page but I want to delete the app entirely. How do I get back to the app to delete it? iphone 12 pro max

If you just removed it from the Home Screen, then it can still be found in the App Library: link-> Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone - Apple Support
You can delete it from there, by tapping and holding on the icon and then selecting Delete app from the menu that appears.
If you don't get an option to delete it from there, then if its an Apple app, check that it's one that can be deleted. If its a deletable Apple app or a 3rd party App but you don't get the option to delete it, go to Settings->Screen Time->Content & Privacy Restrictions->iTunes & App Store Purchases->Deleting Apps, and make sure its set to Allow. Then try to delete it again.
