This should be easy... How do I select a photo in the Photos App on my MBA and email it as an attachment?

I want to send a copy of a photo in my Photos file on my MacBookAir M1 to someone, via email.

BUT I am using Office for Mac Outlook as my primary email app on the MBA.

If I click and drag the photo to the email I'm writing, it appears as a huge photo at bottom of the email.

Isn't there a (EASY???) way to send it as an attachment???? Used to be able to do it on older Mac books.

(I'm irritated because this is another simple task that somehow becomes hard to do ...what the heck?)

Thanks in advance for any help someone can provide.

You can export the photo from the Photos app, and then add it as an attachment.

Beyond that, how Outlook presents the attached Photo has nothing to do with the Photos App or Apple.
