Cannot verify my Apple ID payment method

this seems to be a general issue.

I have more or less the same issue.

This afternoon I got the info from my payment service provider that Apple is sending an incorrect EDI dataset / EDI data frame to the payment service provider which causes this issue and this issue can only be fixed by Apple.

Try signing out of your Apple ID and back in.

Do you have a different card you can try?
