I have created a new playlist in Music and added tracks to it.
When I synchronise my iPhone via the Finder on the Mac I can in the Music tab find and select the new playlist but it is not possible to select Use.
So, what shall I do to be able to select the playlist and have it synchronised to my iPhone.
It worked earlier before upgrading to Monterey.

Yes, it is a smart list where the only rule is all numbers added to iTunes/Music is a certain date.
There is no dependency.
What I do not understand that before upgrading the smart lists could all be selected and added to the iPhone.

Is it a smart playlist? Smart lists that depend on other lists may not be eligible.

I don't know then. Perhaps it is a bug. Use Feedback - macOS - Apple to let Apple know about the unwanted change in behaviour.
