I don't want to forward texts to my other devices. I want to forward spam messages to 7726 and there is no option for "more" when I press and hold the offending text.

how do I forward a text message?

If you press and hold on the text in question, then press "More", then select the right-facing hollow arrow on the bottom right of the phone, it allows you to forward it to another recipient.
