There is no virus on your iPad.

Troubleshooting YouTube Skipping:

A. Single Out Safari:

So, what is occurring seems to be an issue with the Web browser.. So, what happens when you try a new browser (i.e. Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox)? Doeload either one from the App Store and see if you still get this error.

and...

Due to the system architecture of iOS/iPadOS, unless jailbroken, your iPad is not susceptible to traditional malware infection per-se. However, as with all computer systems, there are still vulnerabilities and exploits to which you remain vulnerable. For older devices, no longer benefiting from regular security updates, the risk of an unpatched vulnerability being exploited increases.

Be wary of the often repeated myth that Apple devices are immune to malware; those that perpetuate this falacy do not comprehend the broader threat landscape. Consider that if the myth (and over-generalisation) were true, Apple would not expend considerable resources, as they do, in developing and issuing regular software security updates and patches for its products.

Returning to your issue, the problem that you describe is very, very unlikely to be related to malware. Are you using the YouTube App, or a web-browser App? If the latter, which browser-App are you using - Safari or something else?

If you are not using the YouTube App, install it a try using this instead of using a browser:

https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/youtube-watch-listen-stream/id544007664

If you are already using the YouTube App, try instead to view the videos using a browser:

https://youtube.com

If the browser can successfully view videos, but the YouTube App won’t, delete the YouTube App and re-install.
