Using my SE generation iPhone in Europe

I have a an iPhone SE with Straight talk and will be traveling to Europe and wondering if I can use this phone to communicate will it work in Europe?

The phone physically will work in Europe, but ST doesn’t allow calls FROM outside of the US, Canada and Mexico. So the only option would be to get a SIM card in the country you would be visiting, and you can only do that if your phone is not carrier locked to StraightTalk. Go to Settings/General/About and see what it says for Carrier Lock. Unless it says “No SIM Restrictions” you won’t be able to use the phone outside of North America.


You can ask ST about unlocking it if it is locked, but they generally will refuse.
