Older iPod Touch (3rd Gen) Disabled

I turned my iPod Touch on after a few years, and it tells me device is disabled. I know my passcode, and don't want to perform a restore and lose my files. What do I do?

To restore your data, you would need to have a backup saved on your computer. If you forgot your iPod touch passcode - Apple Support
