Transferring Files Between iPhones:
One route to take is to upload items to iCloud on the old iPhone, and then download them to the new iPhone. You'd dign in to the same Apple ID on both devices, and then enable Photos in iCloud Settings. Being synced, items will be accessible between both devices. Things wouldn't be directly transferred, but they'd be accessible on both devices, nonetheless.
