I used the hide option on an album, by selecting all and hide, now I have an empty album. How do I get just the photos that were hidden from that album back from the hidden album?

No. So, recommend it to Apple. It would be a nifty feature, IMO.

Do your Part: Inform Apple of your feedback of this issue. Include how you’ve troubleshot this, and your results. Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive from its users, the more likely they will know what suits their customer prefer, and what to include in macOS versions to come.

What I need help with is unhiding just the photos that were in a normal album, that are now buried randomly in my hidden album. As I have gone through my albums and hidden photos from most of them, if I unhide all of my hidden photos I will have to go through my whole library again. As I “selected allI” from the album and hid them, the album still exists but is empty, the photos must still be linked as if I was to unhide them they will return to it correct? is there no way to unhide the photos from just that album?
There is no such option. The Hidden Album is just an unstructured, flat list.
You would have to tag the photos in some way, before you hide them, so you can identify them easily, for example with the favourite heart ♡.
